Beginner Guide

Start on CookieSMP — skills, quests, land claiming, player economy, and custom worlds without pay-to-win.

Joining CookieSMP

Connect to play.cookiesmp.net in Minecraft Java (1.19–1.21 supported — check MOTD). Accept the custom resource pack for full features.

CookieSMP is player-run with no pay-to-win. Complete the spawn tutorial for skills, quests, and claiming basics. Link your account on the website if prompted.

Skills and Leveling

Skills level as you play — mining, farming, combat, and more. Higher skills unlock perks and better earnings.

Focus skills matching your playstyle. Grind skills through normal gameplay rather than AFK exploits that may violate rules. Check /skills for your progress.

Land Claiming

Claim land to protect builds from griefing. Use the claiming tool provided at spawn or /claim commands per server rules.

Expand claims as you progress. Unclaimed builds in the wilderness may not be protected. Set homes and keep valuables in claimed territory.

Quests and Daily Rewards

Quests guide progression and reward items, coins, and XP. Daily login rewards provide bonuses — claim them consistently.

Complete quest chains in order for the best reward flow. Seasonal quests offer limited cosmetics and boosts.

Economy and Trading

Player shops and server marketplaces drive the economy. Sell farmed goods, mined resources, and crafted items.

Check market prices before listing. Specialized items sell better to players than NPC vendors. Join Discord for trading channels.

Custom Worlds and Exploration

CookieSMP features custom worlds beyond the main SMP. Unlock access through quests or progression milestones.

Bring appropriate gear for each world's difficulty. Group exploration is safer and faster for harder zones.

Community and Events

CookieSMP emphasizes community building. Join Discord for events, giveaways, and group projects.

Participate in server events for exclusive rewards. Respect community guidelines — the server is moderated for fair play.
